Why Label it?
I have taken inspiration for my 2016 collection from the variety of areas I wanted to focus on: cuts and bold colour alongside creative pony tails and beautiful hair. I’m known for my curls and softness within my looks and I wanted to contrast this with some strong structures. Organic colour is always at the forefront of any of my collections and I’m hell bent on showing that you can still achieve vibrant and on trend looks.
I wanted to work with key trends that we’ll see in 2017, the bright yellows and greens and rose golds. I was inspired by collections from Martin Margiela, Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester and Givenchy. Graphic lines, texture and bold meshing colour were key for the images – the beauty of the model drawn out with the edginess of the cuts and colours.
