The mother of three teens from Twente and owner of Hair & Skin Salon in Goor is an inspiration for many hairdressers. Out of the 28 times that she got nominated for the Coiffure Awards, Petra was the winner of the 2012 and 2014 edition. Besides her title as business woman of Twente of the year, she also won the BIG SHOT Award in New Orleans (category Avantgarde Worldwide). Last year, Petra got nominated for the best editorial of BIG SHOT.
Next to running her salon, Petra travels the world as freelance long hair artist for different salon, hairdresser companies and she even provides traineeships. “Passing on the knowledge and passion of the profession is one of the most beautiful things to do.”, according to Petra. She wants to involve as many people as possible within the process of creating, since creating takes the centre stage. Together with her team, Petra designs Trend Collections and provides presentations and shoots for several brands.
